True to their name, Collaboration seamlessly unites individual artistry into a cohesive, dynamic sound that celebrates the very essence of jazz. As one of the longest-running contemporary jazz groups from the Washington, DC area, Collaboration Productions serves as the band’s business arm, further solidifying their influence in the industry. Over the years, the group has shared stages with legends such as Peabo Bryson, The Manhattans, Pieces of a Dream, Betty Carter, Lee Ritenour, Stanley Turrentine, War, Lalah Hathaway, Norman Brown, and the late icons Phyllis Hyman, Vesta Williams, and Julia Nixon. Their performances have graced prestigious events, including Presidential Inaugural Balls, the Democratic National Convention, The Capital Jazz Festival, The Lou Rawls Parade of Stars, and Walt Disney World's Pleasure Island.
